What the connection means
A six-sided socket inside the implant stops the abutment from rotating. It is easy for dentists to work with and very widely copied, so parts are easy to find.
About the surface
Laser-made micro-channels on the collar help gum fibres attach to the implant, which may reduce bone loss around the neck. The body uses a resorbable-blast (RBT) texture.
