What the connection means
A six-sided socket inside the implant stops the abutment from rotating. It is easy for dentists to work with and very widely copied, so parts are easy to find.
About the surface
A dual acid-etched surface. The T3 adds a nanometre-scale calcium-phosphate layer on top.
