All-on-4
A full arch of fixed teeth on just four implants, often fitted on the same day.
What it is
All-on-4 replaces all the teeth in one jaw with a fixed bridge held by four implants. The two back implants are tilted so they avoid the sinus (upper jaw) or nerve (lower jaw), which often means no bone graft is needed. The concept was developed with Nobel Biocare, but many brands now offer similar full-arch solutions.
Who it suits
- People who have lost most or all of their teeth.
- People with failing teeth who want to skip removable dentures.
- Denture wearers tired of loose dentures.
Same-day teeth
In most cases a temporary fixed bridge is attached within 24–72 hours. After 3–6 months of healing, the final, stronger bridge is made.
