Immediate implants (same-day)
The tooth is removed and the implant is placed in the same appointment.
What it is
Instead of waiting months after an extraction, the implant goes straight into the empty socket. Sometimes a temporary crown is fitted the same day too.
Is it right for me?
It works best when there is no active infection and the bone walls around the tooth are intact. Implants designed for this, such as Straumann BLX, NobelActive or Neodent Helix GM, have aggressive threads that grip well.
Every mouth is different. A dentist can only recommend a treatment after examining you and taking X-rays.
