Can a failed implant be replaced?
Yes, in most cases. The implant is removed, the area is cleaned and often grafted, and after healing a new implant is placed. Success rates for second implants are slightly lower than for first ones, but still good.
First step: identify your implant
If you had your implant abroad or years ago, your new dentist needs to know the brand. Use our implant identifier and ask the original clinic for your implant passport.
Every mouth is different. A dentist can only recommend a treatment after examining you and taking X-rays.
